About you

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager.

Key Responsibilities


• Social Media Manager to provide strategic oversight for what is best practice for our clients paid social media campaigns ensuring it aligns with the rest of the campaign assets, media plans and across 11 European markets (occasion, seasonality, messaging)
• You will need to have proven experience of planning and managing development of organic and paid media across a variety of social channels
• Working closely with brand and media on understanding their overall business vision and goals to determine the correct content strategy.
• To achieve maximum success, you will provide best practice social media advice to internal and external teams
• An understanding of the creative process and studio timeframes
• You need the ability to easily switch from the creative side of marketing (e.g., content production) to the analytical side of social campaign management, being able to analyse ROI and develop effective strategies. You will be capable of analysing key metrics and campaign results to tweak budgets & creative as needed through weekly optimisation and develop a longer-term strategic response
• You will understand and have experience of writing social copy and tagging
• You will be responsible for day-to-day management of a brands social channels and brief our Production Managers on content development
• Responsible for posting creative content to social channels ensuring content is posted in line with industry, social and digital best practice
• You will drive community growth by posting compelling content that has consistent engagement
• Drive culturally relevant and meaningful conversations with our audience to increase brand engagement and stimulate loyalty
• Monitor industry discussions and trends using social listening tools and analysis
• Monitor and measure the success of social content and provide on-going reports and future suggestions
• Ability to react to sudden cultural or market trends in real time
• Experience and understanding of social media community management

Key Experience & Skills

Your experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in social media, working in an agency or client side
• A strong team player who is proficient at building relationships and collaborating to achieve shared goals 
• Confidence in managing multiple deliverables while prioritising competing demands
• Experience working cross-market is highly desirable
• Meticulous attention to detail across visual and written content, as you will be responsible for all social outputs on your brands.
• Expert understanding and deep experience of paid media best practice for social; able to work closely with paid media agencies to drive best practice and most effective output
• Expert in all mainstream social media platforms and knowledge of market differences; expert in social media tools such as Sprinklr; able to upskill those around them
• Proactively seeks out opportunities to create and optimise campaign content that’s aligned to client goals; seen by the client as a trusted expert
• Skilled multitasker who can work well under pressure, managing multiple large-scale campaigns and brands.
• Strong understanding of content marketing – social and e-com in particular
•An expert in content/cultural trends & movements, at the forefront of new tools and functionality in the social space.
• Comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder environment
