The Role

Reporting to the CFOO, the role of Head of Information Technology will own the management of and technical strategy for ICP’s technology stack including its business applications, data, and IT support. The role requires close communication and engagement with business stakeholders to ensure that a cohesive, holistic technical vision is maintained across ICP’s digital ecosystem and will develop the foundation for long-term technical success. The role will lead discovery and implementation of technology requirements, and reviews of optimisation and automation efficiencies as required. You may also be required to engage with clients and support other business objectives from time to time. A key part of the role will be owning and delivering a comprehensive cyber security strategy. The role will also involve engagement with ICP delivery practices as required, including in particular liaising with any specialists re the development of Production’s technology delivery platforms and their impact upon ICP applications and hardware.


Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical delivery and program management of ICP systems and technology products, engaging with business stakeholders to ensure a cohesive, holistic technical vision is maintained across ICP’s digital ecosystem, hardware, apps & telecoms, and establishing the foundation for long-term technical success
• Accountability for procurement of ongoing technology requirements, including renewals i.e., laptops and licenses etc., and producing business cases for CFOO as may be required
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems and processes, designed to scale the technical operating capabilities of the group
• Accountable for systems, software and infrastructure program management at ICP - for example re new offices – and acting as the consulting subject matter expert for the ICP digital ecosystem
• Support ICP practices in vision, discovery, implementation and adoption of systems and services
• Supporting operational and efficiency reviews across practices
• Provide day-to-day leadership and support on technology platforms, delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology advice to ensure success
• Lead the business in respect of optimal management and organisation of data, adhering to data privacy
• Responsible for measurement and effectiveness of relevant systems & processes, including a suite of KPIs
• Occasional advice to Subject Matter Experts and Delivery Practices on technology offerings for clients
• Oversight of all ICP locations but particular focus on main hubs in London and Atlanta
• Line management of IT managers based in London and Atlanta
• Overall accountability for procurement and maintenance of IT kit, for example laptops
• Responsible for contract and management of ICPs external IT support vendor, including driving efficiencies
• Enhance and enforce cyber security across the group’s infrastructure, including owning and shaping current development plans as recently advised by our third-party cyber security experts
• Review and streamlining as appropriate of ICP’s business operating systems including connecting of data and workflows between ICP’s CRM, Production, Salesforce-based PSA (Kimble), and Sage (HR & Finance) systems
• Cyber security scope to include governance, asset management, data loss prevention, privileged access management, resilience measures, email and web security, security training and awareness, third-party risk management, identity and access management, secure development, security event monitoring, data encryption, endpoint security, vulnerability management, network security, strong authentication, incident response


Key Experience & Skills

• Experience implementing business systems
• Program & project management skills
• Professional services/consulting/marketing services background would be beneficial
• Owning and driving business applications & integration strategy
• Designing support frameworks & managing/delegating product ownership as required
• Managing people and teams as required
• 5-10+ years of relevant experience
