Our Managed Services Practice (MSP) focuses on delivering long-term support for clients in marketing technology, with approximately 200 team members worldwide in the US, UK, Mexico, Netherlands, India, and China. Taking a people-first approach, MSP supports and elevates our clients’ mar-tech ecosystems, via expertise in digital asset management, stakeholder management, user support, and DAM and Product Information Management (PIM), and Marketing Resource Management (MRM) systems.
Accountable to the Managing Director, Americas, the ICP Managed Services Practice Regional Lead, Americas works in partnership with the Managed Services Practice Global Lead on ensuring delivery of priority initiatives for the practice. The position provides practice leadership and management for US and MX resources, working towards strategic objectives to ensure business growth, while embodying core ICP values as a senior leader. This role maintains an average of 60% billable work, with the remaining time dedicated to their Practice Leadership remit.
Key Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managed Services Practice Pace Setter:
A “leader of leaders,” the MSP Americas Practice Lead leads and develops the MSP Americas Management Team, collaborating and delegating practice initiatives that are focused on practice communications, learning & development, and performance management of the broader MSP community
Collaborates with Global MSP Lead on, including but not limited to, career development paths & programs, best practice gathering and documentation, and ICP Partner Program
Continues to evolve a recently implemented Americas practice-led organizational structure, to scale with company growth
Manages MSP internal resource utilization and placement in partnership with Global Talent Resource Director and guided by a knowledge of individual skillsets and availability
Provides direction on external talent acquisition planning for MSP Americas in partnership with ICP Talent Acquisition team
Responsible for overall engagement success for MSP accounts within the Americas region, providing data to Global Practice Lead and Americas Managing Director
Accountable for regional practice check-in results, an internal quality assurance process for MSP account health, risk mitigation and best practice curation
Cross-Functional Partnering:
Implement, monitor and report on innovation within practice
Collaborate with Americas Consulting and Production practice leadership on regional initiatives and shared solutioning
Work with internal support functions such as Finance and People Team to support people development and compensation regionally
Business Development:
Supports ICP Growth & Marketing through pitch participation for new clients
Provide expertise for relevant scopes of work on new/existing clients by collaborating with Client Partners
Account Delivery:
60% billable work for client(s) within delivery area of marketing technology expertise, such as mar-tech system integration strategy, system launch, and/or operational discoveries to kick-start new managed service teams
Key Experience & Skills
KEY SKILLS:
Subject matter expertise in at least one of the Managed Services practice’s specialties of DAM, PIM & MRM (background in marketing operations or information science)
Deep understanding of robust mar-tech ecosystems and their components
Ability to think globally, act locally
Ability to balance competing priorities and manage simultaneous demands
Excellent communication skills—verbal, written and visual
Financial acumen and business intelligence
7-10 years of relevant experience required
College degree required
