LONDON – ICP, a global leader in Content Operations, today announced that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management. The certification formally validates the policies, processes and controls ICP has in place to safeguard information, manage risk, ensure business continuity and protect the data entrusted to it by clients, partners and employees.
"As content operations become more connected, more automated and more AI-driven, the question our clients ask isn't just whether we can do the work," said Jeremy Wintroub, Chief Operating Officer, ICP. "It's whether they can trust us with their systems and their data while we do it. This certification is part of our answer."
Achieving the certification followed an extensive six-month audit programme led by ICP's IT and security teams, with support from colleagues across People, Finance, Technology & Innovation Services, Operations and the wider business. The result reflects a company-wide commitment to information security, rather than the work of a single function.
"As we grow into the role of a trusted connective layer across the platforms and AI tools our clients rely on, security isn't an afterthought bolted on, it's built into how we operate on a day-to-day basis," Wintroub continued. "Achieving this certification is a company-wide accomplishment, and it reflects the rigour and discipline the whole ICP team has shown to get us here. This is just the start of the journey and strengthens our ability to serve clients, innovate confidently, and operate with the rigor expected."
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification is awarded to organisations that meet stringent international criteria for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS). It is one of the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standards, and covers the people, processes and technology involved in protecting information.
